Max Mara Boutique
MCM carried out a full package of construction and installation works for the implementation of the project for a new Max Mara boutique. The store now occupies a premise with an expanded area 490 m2 on two floors of a building overlooking Red Square. Designed by Duccio Grassi Architects, the boutique's project features double-height rooms, veined brass, and Brown Forest marble windows, and typical GUM vaulted ceilings. At the entrance, the floor and walls are made of Ceppo stone, the same stone that is used in the Milanese palaces. The unusual brass wall has been specially handcrafted and echoes the moderate elegance of the iconic decor found in all Max Mara flagship stores. Natural stone, brass walls, oak wood and engraved metal complement the space with polished metal and wooden furniture. A warm palette of luxurious materials combined with the light of a tubular brass “diffusing chandelier”, specially designed by Duccio Grassi Architects in collaboration with Viabizzuno, creates a welcoming atmosphere in the store.
